Out of this world!! Read all about it on Cake Central: http://cakecentral.com/gallery/1947007/ (which is just about the best site for everything cake decorating related!) Happy Birthday to my oldest son. I can't believe how much you've grown in just 7 years. I love you!

This vanilla cake was carved into an open book shape and decorated with mostly buttercream and a few fondant accents. The idea for this cake was inspired by the birthday girl's love of Dora books!

Rubber Duck 1st Birthday Cake
This big cake is for a one year old who turned 1 on 1-11-11! The theme of the party was Construction Duckies so we let this cute guy take off his gear for a quick float. This duck is made from cereal treats and covered in fondant. All of the cake decorations (including the barrel, duck, gear and bubbles) are made from fondant.

Darth Vader Cake
For my son's 4th birthday! He's a huge Darth Vader and Star Wars fan. Darth is made from cereal treats and gumpaste and is supported with a wooden dowel and fat plastic drinking straw. Outside of the supports, Darth Vader is completely edible (and I regret not taking pictures of the kids tearing into this guy at the party!).
